From essential warm-ups, to grips and escapes, these classes are invaluable for newcomers as well as advanced practitioners seeking to reinforce their core skills.

Beginner Basics

Gi CLASS

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi class is a grappling session where students train wearing the traditional Gi (martial arts uniform). The Gi allows practitioners to use grips on the jacket and pants to control opponents, set up submissions, and improve positional technique.

Classes usually include a warm-up, technique instruction, partner drills, and live sparring. Gi training focuses on technical precision, control, and strategy, and is suitable for both beginners and experienced students.

Fundamentals

NO Gi CLASS

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi class is a grappling session where students train without the traditional Gi (martial arts uniform), typically wearing rash guards and shorts instead. Without Gi grips, techniques focus more on body control, speed, and wrestling-style clinches.Classes usually include a warm-up, technique instruction, partner drills, and live sparring. No-Gi training develops fast transitions, strong positional control, and practical submission skills, and is suitable for all experience levels.

Our Judo Throws Class focuses on takedowns and throwing techniques adapted for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
